Add your Video

  1. Login in.  If you don’t have a login you can register here.
  2. Create a new post (Menu: Write> Post) and give the post a title.
  3. Locate your clip on YouTube. We will remove any video from any source that doesn’t comply with YouTube community guidelines
  4. Copy the EMBED code from youtube to the Custom Fields section of the wordpress post, selecting the custom field type ‘VideoEmbed’ and paste the code into the Value box.
  5. ***Firefox bug alert **** If you are using Firefox, you may need to REPASTE the embed code into the now saved custom field value box.  For some reason the embed code gets messed up when saving for the first time, adding multiple /’s when it shouldn’t.  You must complete this step for it to save the trailer code properly.
  6. Write a description of the clip.
  7. If you want, create some Tags.  Suggestions for tags include:

    8. -          the Directors name
    -          year of production (i.e. 2007, 2008)
    -          genre types i.e. Comedy, Family, Horror

  8. In Categories, select ‘Video’ plus the first IMDB genre for the movie. This is an important step; without selecting ‘Video’ the post will NOT appear on the site.
  9. Save and Publish the Post.
  10. Done !
