These are toprock, downrock (also known as footwork), power moves, and freezes. Battles are an integral part of the b-boying culture. They can take the form of a cypher battle and an organized battle. Both types of battles are head to head confrontations between individuals or groups of dancers who try to out-dance each other.

“They shot his wife, they kidnapped his daughter. They messed with the wrong Flid.”

This unconventional martial arts project tells the story of Jimmy, a thalidomide short armed kung fu star and his other half Lu, who are trying to get their daughter back from the claws of child trafficking gangsters who, unbeknown to them, want to fry her in acid. In turns shocking, hilarious and touching KUNG FU FLID is an ultra violent contemplation on the meaning of life. The film stars Mat Fraser, Faye Tozer (‘Lady Godiva Back in the Saddle’), Frank Harper (‘This IS England’) and Helen Watkins.

In Judaism, Christianity, and Islam a white dove is generally a sign for peace. The Torah, The Old Testament and The Koran describe a story in which a dove was released by Noah after the Great Flood in order to find land. The dove came back carrying an olive branch in its beak, telling Noah that the Great Flood had receded and there was land once again for Man. (Genesis 8:11).

The motif can also represent “hope for peace” and even a peace offering from one man to another, as in the phrase “extend an olive branch”. Often, the dove is represented as still in flight to remind the viewer of its role as messenger.

Tornadoes come in many sizes but are typically in the form of a visible condensation funnel, whose narrow end touches the earth and is often encircled by a cloud of debris. Most tornadoes have wind speeds between 40 and 110 mph, are approximately 250 feet across, and travel a few miles before dissipating, yet some attain wind speeds of more than 300 mph, stretch more than a mile across, and stay on the ground for dozens of miles.

Although tornadoes have been observed on every continent except Antarctica, most occur in the United States. They also commonly occur in southern Canada, south-central and eastern Asia, east-central South America, Southern Africa, northwestern and southeast Europe, western and southeastern Australia, and New Zealand.
